Is tolerance for the gay community becoming a form of modern theology?

meaning that a lot of people are repeating "gay is oh, homosexuality is normal" without even trying to back it up with any arguments and the classical response to anything considered anty-gay is something pretty similar to the religious answer "la la la can't hear you, can't hear you godidit", changed a little to "la la la can't hear you can't hear you, you're a bigot". lets take this argument for example. in my opinion "gay culture" (meaning introducing gay characters in all tv-shows, teaching everybody that you are born gay and there's nothing wrong with it etc), can have a damaging effect. even if someone is born gay, (even thou there is nothing to back this up, no gay gene, no biological differences between homo and heterosexual people), the fact is that psychological issues can determine sexual deviations (true for zoophiles, pedophiles etc), and if a kid with some problems and who is a bit socially awkward if exposed to this sort of "gay culture" could think that his problems derive from sexual problems and people instead of telling him to try some therapy first would encourage him and say that his brave for admitting it even if he isn't gay. if you want to say that being gay is normal...ok, but the gay community is the only minority group that are focusing strictly on sexual issues and shout them anywhere anytime regardless of what people think about it. i don't see a lot of heterosexual people walking around with banners that say "i'm straight and proud" or having to specify his sexual orientation in every movie or sitcom on tv. now the question is, does anybody have a more complex opinion on this then "la la la can't hear, can't hear, you're a bigot?"

Why is my dog attacking my other dog?

I have 2 intact female dogs; Basset Hound and Cocker Spaniel. We bred our basset hound over 6 months ago and during her pregnancy she became aggressive about food with our cocker. When we discussed this with a professional they said it should pass once her puppies are gone and her hormones are back to normal. We didn't have any problems with her until a few weeks ago when she again became aggressive again over a few kibbles my daughter put on the floor. Then, this morning I heard growling near our back door and found our cocker sitting waiting to go out and avoiding eye contact with the Basset hound and as soon as I tried to intervene our Basset attacked. It's a lot of noise and growling, but no injuries. She is just coming out of heat. It's so surprising since our BH is so loving and playful and usually is best friends with the CS. I am wondering if we spay them both if the aggressiveness will stop, or if this is something we will need to bring a behaviorist in to correct. I am not a backyard breeder btw so no nasty comments. My BH is registered and all of the health checks were done etc. I am trying to do what is best for my dogs.

Im painting my bedroom and got a couple questions?

You may be able to do it in that time if you can recruit two helpers. First you will have to tape everything off. Next you will paint the ceiling, then the four walls and lastly the frame boards. I don't know if you've ever painted before but it is tough. Your arms get tired after a while, especially when you're painting up high. And then you have to put more than one coat on so, yeah. I think you can do it with the assistance of some helpers. Can you stall your sister? Maybe tell her to go pick something up for you on her way home? Also, I would say you need approx two five gallon cans to paint this room.

I developed website for non profit organization. But one problem is on pc all browsers display the webpage exactly I created. But when I'm on linux computer, the same browsers display different. Why are there so many banner ads during programs free tv australian networks?

its on constantly through programs especially on channel 10. Americans: why not adopt a local Native American religion, to replace a remote alien Middle Eastern one?

It's obvious that Americans are understandably proud of where they were born and raised, as expressed by the ubiquity of the Stars and Stripes, the singing of "The Star-Spangled Banner", and phrases like “My country, right or wrong; if right, to be kept right; and if wrong, to be set right”. So it’s odd that over three quarters of Americans profess a faith in a foreign religion from an alien land, an ocean and a continent away – Judaism, Christianity and Islam. There are plenty of Native American religions, such as Drum Region, Earth Lodge Religion, Ghost Dance Religion, Dream Dance, Feather Religion, and Peyote Religion – so wouldn’t it more logical and congruent with American nationalism to adopt a local American religion?

When a mother gets on board of an aeroplane with baby, people give all kinds of looks like "Oh no, here we go". Luckily for me my baby never cried on his 8 hr flight from NY to London (he was only 3 months old) and you shoulkd have seen the surprising looks on people's faces LOL However, there were two twin girls who made more than enough noise. Which Model Train should I get?

My dad used to collect model trains when he was little and he always talks about them out of nowhere. meaning that a lot of people are repeating "gay is ok, homosexuality is normal" without even trying to back it up with any arguments and the classical response to anything considered anty-gay is something pretty similar to the religious answer "la la la can't hear you, can't hear you godidit", changed a little to "la la la can't hear you can't hear you, you're a bigot". lets take this argument for example. in my opinion "gay culture" (meaning introducing gay characters in all tv-shows, teaching everybody that you are born gay and there's nothing wrong with it etc), can have a damaging effect. even if someone is born gay, (even thou there is nothing to back this up, no gay gene, no biological differences between homo and heterosexual people), the fact is that psychological issues can determine sexual deviations (true for zoophiles, pedophiles etc), and if a kid with some problems and who is a bit socially awkward if exposed to this sort of "gay culture" could think that his problems derive from sexual problems and people instead of telling him to try some therapy first would encourage him and say that his brave for admitting it even if he isn't gay. if you want to say that being gay is normal...ok, but the gay community is the only minority group that are focusing strictly on sexual issues and shout them anywhere anytime regardless of what people think about it. i don't see a lot of heterosexual people walking around with banners that say "i'm straight and proud" or having to specify his sexual orientation in every movie or sitcom on tv. now the question is, does anybody have a more complex opinion on this then "la la la can't hear, can't hear, you're a bigot?"

I moved to this school in fifth grade. Now I'll be going into freshman year. During the summer of fifth and sixth grade I went to the school to hang out with my best friend at the time(A girl). On the way there as we passed the gas station, there was a group of the more jock-like guys, who I do not like because they were very rude and judged people A LOT. Yes, we did have jock-ish people at that time, more mild then, though. Story short- we got called losers, fatties, bitches, etc., but went on. They were there when my friend and I got to the park-school thing. They teased us, stole my water, and well, were assholes. I never wanted to see their faces, mainly his. To my surprise, he was in my 6th grade class. Well, I avoided him because of his douche-ish acts. During the year, I progressed into more of a girl.(Within 3 months) Meaning--not to be offensive-- I slimmed out and got 4 inches taller.I was really short, by the end of that I was 5' and 1 half inches. After that was over... I caught him staring at me. That went on for the rest of the school year. While we were at a week long camp(in May), he was in my group, one thing on my mind- oh joy... I told this kid who I joke around with a lot that I, jokingly, hated him, the guy who I'm asking the question about(who I'll nickname 'boy') was behind me talking to a guy. Boy then said, 'you don't hate me, right?'. Confused I said "no.. you're alright." that was odd. On the last day of school, Boy walked up to me blushing and was going to say something, but then walked away.(I know it's long, bare with me!) He has been in 4 of my classes(not including 6th grade) during the course of middle school, and has been my project partner once, and we barely talked to each other during that time, or during middle school at all. Boy still stared and sometimes blushed or smiled. I talked to my very good best friend, who is a gamer and guy, and he said he has only the slightest clue of a yes. My very few female friends say, maybe. I really do not like this guy! He is rude and keeps girlfriends for like 2 months or less. Boy also harshly dumps them 75% of the time. I feel a little curious since I've been seeing trailers for "Horrible Bosses" and been reflecting on my last employer, my first boss was not very full of praise except for his group of favorites, he expected us to kiss his butt, he was very cold to me, and was not helpful. He also showed a general lack of interest in anything I did, I could tell he didn't care about my thoughts, concerns, or ideas. He also got on my bad side once really badly. What happened in that situation is that he was supervising a small committee consisting of myself and two co-workers. We were putting together an event and had to do advertising and to prepare and be a team player, I made flyers, posters, signs, and a giant banner. It was a St. Patrick's Day event and I had to draw a Four Leaf Clover and he looked at all of them, laughed and said "that is the worst four leaf clover I have ever seen, it looks like a disfigured hand" and got the other two laughing at the hard work I put in. If he didn't like it, he could have said it better. He also had a tendency to take the side of those he favorited, one in particular, that had a strong dislike of me for some reason. I'm transgender, and I need help on telling my mother?

Okay, uh, I'm 16 and FtM, and I've known it for a while now. I'm just not sure how to bring this up to her. It's not that I'd think she'd have a problem with it, but I'm worried she won't understand. She's made hints and I think she thinks I'm a lesbian, or wouldn't be surprised if I was. One time, and I don't even remember how this was brought up, but she said something like she could see me being the more 'butch' one of the two. I'm pretty pale too and if I have a day to sit out in the sun, I'm usually out there from 11-12 until 4ish or 5. It depends if I have a good spot to sit in :P I always wear something around 30spf. Good on you for wearing sunscreen!!! Make sure you drink a lot of water while you're out there. Take breaks as well. Being in the sun is nice, but it's not the healthiest.

Vintage Sears Bicycle...need to know the production year.?

My internet won't let me load some pages URGENT NEED PLEASE!?

Okay, I was trying to access some pages for my summer school assignment, and my computer went through one of those windows autmatic updates. I wasn't there to postpone it, so when i got back it had restarted itself. I went and logged in normally, and to my surprise it won't let me load some sites. These are sites I'd regularly visit. My online summer school class, a writing site, forums I post on, etc etc. They just won't load. It will load other pages like facebook, yahoo, etc. The internet browser tries to switch into compatibility mode, but it doesn't work. I switched over to google chrome which i have but never used and the same thing happened. Okay, I'm like something is REALLY wrong. There was no system restore point for me to go back to, and this problem is still happening while I am in safemode with networking. Now, I'm scared, and don't know what to do. This computer doesn't belong to me, its my grandmother's, and I'm using it to do my summer school which it won't let me get to. I need to know what's going wrong, because I'm on the verge of crying this second. I really need to know if something happened to the internet or my computer since my ipod is able to look at those pages fine. Please someone help me, soon. I don't know what to do; I'm seventeen and this is basically my grandmother's lifeline to her friends. Please, I need help!

Okay, here's a story for you all. my names DJ, im going to be a freshman in college. my girlfriend...is going to be a junior in high school. We've been dating for 3 months. Why is my period so light?

I've been on the pill for some time now and at the very end of my period this month I had sex. 10 days after the sex I had some light spotting and I was worried that I might be pregnant. So I stressed about it for a week and I started getting stomach pains. They weren't pains from my vagina, it would just be stomach pains. When I stopped stressing they would go away unless I ate food that really upset my stomach. Anyway last night I got my period and I was very surprised because they usually don't come until about 24 hours later. I could definitely tell it was my period, but it's so light that it isn't staining the pad I'm wearing. Whenever I wipe when I go to the bathroom I see the blood so I know I'm having my period. It's never quite this light though. Also this morning I woke up and was feeling very sick. My back hurt and my head and stomach hurt and I was getting very light-headed when I would stand for a while I also had a fever and lots of diarrhea. I'm feeling much better now but I still am having some diarrhea. I couldn't be pregnant right? Is my period light because I was stressed and then got sick? Will I pass the drug test I just took?

This morning, June 30, I took a surprise urine drug test for an important job. I am not a regular drug user but just spent 6 weeks in Europe and experimented like any 21-year-old would. The Breedlove is not a full size guitar, it's a travel guitar. It's not a good choice for learning to play guitar. The Seagull S6 is a very popular guitar but I'm not crazy about its cedar top. Also, they're both a lot of money for a beginner. I'd recommend the Yamaha FS-720S instead.

I work at an ice cream store in and I was the one that trained her it was just me and her working that day and we got talking about a lot of things like our favourite music which we both have in common and then we joked around a bit and that’s when I found out she had a boyfriend. Is this an eating disorder?

i cant eat. I'm going through some difficult things right now and i lost appetite i started skipping a meal or two and now i don't eat for entire days. i already lost like 4 cm of waist and a few pounds and i feel weak and tired and I'm starting to faint when i get too stressed, its been 2 times but compared to the fact that I've always been a healthy person and i never faint it worried me. plus when i try to eat i get nausea, even with cereal, of the entire bowl i get like 2 or 3 spoons and i cant continue... i think i need help but i think it is psychological because only my boyfriend (who surprise! is the one that has me so stressed) can make me eat. I don't know why or how he does it but he can make me eat at least one full meal though i still feel nauseous when im done. Time to go to the doctor?
